Acting in your best interest

July 17, 2020

LPL Financial, LLC. values the privilege of helping you pursue your financial goals. Along with this rewarding work comes the obligation to comply with industry regulations which have been established to protect investors.

On June 5, 2019, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) adopted a new set of rules to enhance the quality and transparency of retail investors’ relationships with investment advisers and broker-dealers. The rules include Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) and the Form CRS Relationship Summary with an effective date of June 30, 2020. These new rules require broker-dealers to act in the best interest of retail customers, which reinforces and formalizes the existing approach Waddell & Reed Inc. uses to conduct business. Additionally, the Form CRS Relationship Summary requires investment advisers and broker-dealers to provide simple, easy-to-understand information about the nature of the relationship between the retail customer and their investment professional.

Waddell & Reed, Inc. mailed the required disclosures consistent with the type of account you own. If you have any questions about the disclosures, please call me at (949) 981-3981.

We appreciate your business and welcome the opportunity to serve you.

Sincerely,
